  Temos a grande satisfação de anunciar a criação da Revista Brasileira de Estudos CTS, mantida pela Associação Brasileira de Estudos Sociais de Ciência e Tecnologia (ESOCITE.BR) e voltada para a produção acadêmica na área de Estudos de Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS). A Revista é fruto de um trabalho coletivo que envolveu diferentes pesquisadores vinculados à ESOCITE.BR e que, durante mais de um ano, se dedicaram a dar forma à publicação.
  A Revista pretende compreender as múltiplas articulações entre conhecimento científico, desenvolvimento tecnológico e relações sociais. Com um caráter interdisciplinar/transdisciplinar e crítico, espera-se que impulsione uma produção acadêmica que atua nas fronteiras entre diferentes enfoques e paradigmas científicos, buscando entender e transformar as bases cognitivas e materiais de sustentação da sociedade contemporânea.

  In the second issue of the Brazilian Journal of STS Studies, we celebrate the consolidation of the journal and its inclusion in important scientific indexing platforms, expanding its visibility and reach within the academic community. The significant volume and quality of the submitted works highlight the growing interest and relevance of the STS field. We would especially like to thank the researchers who contributed with rigorous peer reviews, which are essential to the journal’s scientific consistency. This issue brings together 7 articles, representing the regional and thematic diversity that characterizes STS Studies in Brazil.

  The new issue of the Brazilian Journal of STS Studies reaffirms its commitment to fostering critical and contemporary debates on Science, Technology, and Society, bringing together research on topics such as artificial intelligence, democracy, health, digital culture, social technologies, and climate change. In addition to featuring eight original articles and inaugurating the publication of book reviews, this issue reflects the strengthening of the journal's editorial policy, expanding its internationalization, enhancing its editorial processes, and consolidating its role as a plural space for the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the advancement of the STS agenda in Brazil.
