Emoções em espaços científico-culturais:
uma reflexão sobre a experiência de visita

Neste artigo, propomos uma reflexão crítica sobre o papel das emoções na experiência de visita em espaços científico-culturais, com base em estudos realizados em quatro instituições brasileiras: o Museu da Vida Fiocruz da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, o Museu de Microbiologia do Instituto Butantan, o Parque Zoobotânico Emílio Goeldi e o Parque das Aves. O objetivo foi compreender como visitantes - famílias com crianças - expressam e vivenciam emoções durante suas interações com exposições, objetos, animais e mediadores. Os estudos utilizaram a mesma metodologia, sendo os dados coletados por meio de câmeras subjetivas (point-of-view) acopladas aos visitantes e analisados a partir de descritores emocionais obtidos a partir da literatura em psicologia. A análise revelou que, apesar da diversidade dos contextos estudados, emergiram padrões consistentes que indicam que as experiências emocionais desempenham um papel articulador nas visitas, moldando a atenção e interação social, o engajamento, a construção de sentido e identidade dos visitantes no espaço expositivo.
